The Los Angeles Rams (8-6) and New York Jets (4-10) will face off in NFL Week 16. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. The game will be broadcast live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+.

Rams vs Jets odds have the Rams as -165 moneyline favorites and Jets as +140 underdogs to pull off the upset. The over/under is 47 points (-110/-110). The Rams are 3-point favorites on the spread over the Jets (Rams -3; -110).

Let's get to my Jets vs. Rams predictions and NFL picks for Sunday afternoon.

Rams vs. Jets Predictions

Against the Spread

While the Jets aren't playing for much and the Rams certainly are, I like New York to cover in this spot.

Moneyline

I like the Jets against the spread, but I'm not betting Rodgers & Co. on the moneyline.

Over/Under

I have no play on the total in this one.

My Pick: Jets +3 (-110)

Rams vs. Jets Preview & Week 16 Prediction

I don’t usually show this much value this late in the season, but I’m closer to Rams -1.5 on this one. That means I have to bet the Jets at +3.5 — it’s my favorite bet of the week.

If you look at last season, the Rams went on a late-season surge to make the playoffs. After that surge was a Week 17 game in New York against the Giants. Los Angeles won against a Tyrod Taylor-led Giants offense, but a late Mason Crosby missed field goal was the reason why.

This spot is eerily similar. There’s a chance the Rams come out a little flat in cold weather with the high in the 20s on Sunday.

What have the Rams done on the road and outdoors?

Their offense is a different animal on the road. This is a team that went to New Orleans a couple of weeks ago and almost lost. If Taysom Hill doesn’t get hurt, the end of that game might play out differently.

Then, last week against the 49ers in bad conditions for the first half, the offense did nothing before slightly coming alive in the second half. Los Angeles didn’t score a touchdown in the game, though.

Earlier in the season, the Rams were blown out on the road against the Cardinals, then they lost to the Bears. There was also a game in Seattle that Los Angeles had no business winning, but two Geno Smith interceptions did the trick before the Rams won in overtime.

This Rams offense is much less efficient when playing outdoors, and they’re traveling across the country.

The Rams have also won seven one-possession games this season, including three in a row. The Jets, meanwhile, have lost seven one-possession games.

Aaron Rodgers is starting to look better and is experienced in the cold, so this might be where the Jets finally get a win in a close game.

Try to grab the 3.5 points if you can. Otherwise, I’m still seeing value at a field goal for the Jets to make the Rams uncomfortable in this one.

My Pick: Jets +3
