The Minnesota Vikings (6-2) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) will begin the NFL Week 10 Sunday slate at 1 p.m. ET from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville. The game will be broadcast on FOX and can be streamed on YouTube TV and other platforms.
The Vikings are 7-point favorites over the Jaguars (Vikings -7) with the over/under set at 43 points scored. Minnesota is -330 on the moneyline and Jacksonville is +265.
The Vikings snapped a two-game skid last week with a 21-13 win over the Colts. Sam Darnold threw for 290 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions against the Colts, while Justin Jefferson had 137 receiving yards. The Jaguars lost 28-23 to the Eagles last week, and it looks like they'll be without Trevor Lawrence this week. Lawrence suffered a shoulder injury against the Eagles, which puts Mac Jones in line to start against the NFL's best defense this week.
Let's get into my Vikings vs. Jaguars prediction and my NFL picks for Week 10.

My Jaguars vs. Vikings best bet is on Minnesota to cover the first-quarter spread. For all of your NFL bets, be sure to find the best lines by using our live NFL odds page.
Pick Against the Spread
We don't want to bet on Mac Jones. That's not a healthy way to spend your Sunday afternoon. So, let's do the opposite.
The Vikings are 7-1 against the spread in the first quarter this season, and that spread is less than a field goal across the board. As long as it's Vikings 1Q -2.5 or lower, I'd recommend it.
Over/Under Prediction
I have no play on the over/under for this game.
Moneyline
The Vikings moneyline is only useful as a parlay piece, so I'm not interested in that as a solo bet. And, as mentioned before, I'm avoiding betting on Jones.
My pick: Vikings 1Q -1.5 (-110)
How To Bet Vikings vs. Jaguars Picks
If Trevor Lawrence was starting for the Jaguars, this might be a spot to back them. Lawrence is 4-1 against the spread this season as an underdog of three or more points and 11-7 in such situations over the past three seasons. Lawrence is also much, much better when playing at home.
Instead, we have Mac Jones likely to fill in for Lawrence because of a shoulder injury.
I’m not going to sit here and try to get any of you excited about backing Jones. We know who he is as a quarterback, and he’s entering a potential hornets nest with this matchup.
Brian Flores’ Vikings defense has tormented opposing quarterbacks this season. The Vikings have the first-ranked defense overall, against the pass and against the rush. Flores is sending an unmerciful number of blitzes at opposition this season, and it’s working.
Good luck to Jones, who is as immobile as they come.
Fortunately for us, there’s a clear easy play here that fades the Jaguars and backs the Vikings.
According to Action Network’s Evan Abrams, the Vikings are 7-1 against the spread in the first quarter this season. That loss came last week against the Colts, when it finished 0-0 after the first quarter.
Here, I would play the Vikings’ first-quarter spread up to -2.5, but it’s mostly -1.5 across the board, as of Friday night. BetMGM is even posting a -0.5.
At anything less than a field goal, take the Vikings to be leading after the first quarter.
Pick: Vikings 1Q -1.5 (-110)
