The New England Patriots (2-7) and Chicago Bears (4-4) will begin the NFL Week 10 Sunday slate at 1 p.m. ET from Soldier Field in Chicago. The game will be broadcast on FOX and can be streamed on YouTube TV and other platforms.
The Bears are 6-point favorites over the Patriots (Bears -6) with the over/under set at 38.5 points scored. Chicago is -300 on the moneyline and New England is +240.
Chicago lost 29-9 to the Cardinals last week for its second straight defeat. Caleb Williams struggled, but Rome Odunze looked like the Bears' go-to guy with 104 receiving yards. The Patriots lost 20-17 to the Titans in overtime. Drake Maye threw a miraculous touchdown as time expired in the fourth quarter to Rhamondre Stevenson that sent it to overtime, but New England's offense was otherwise underwhelming.
Let's get into my Patriots vs. Bears predictions and my NFL picks for Week 10.

Pick Against the Spread
The Bears have taken care of business and are 3-0 against the spread at Soldier Field this season. The Patriots offense has underwhelmed in recent weeks with Maye under center, so I see this as a get-right spot at home for Chicago.
I'd only recommend betting the Bears at -6. If the spread moves to -6.5, shift your bet to the first-half spread. New England is 2-7 against the spread in the first half this season.
Over/Under Prediction
I have no bet on this game's total.
Moneyline
The Bears moneyline might make for a good parlay piece, but I'm not recommending it as a solo bet.
My pick: Bears -6 (-110)
How To Bet Patriots vs. Bears Picks
I’ve been burnt the past two weeks by the Bears, although to be fair it should have been just last week. Jayden Daniels’ Week 8 Hail Mary will haunt me for a long time.
Caleb Williams was awful last week against the Cardinals He averaged 5.3 yards per attempt and completed just 22 of his 41 pass attempts. The Bears run game struggled, as well, with only 3.0 yards per carry on 23 attempts.
Despite all of that, I’m going back to the well this week with the Bears because of a bevy of trends that say Chicago is the right side here.
This is a must-win game for Chicago. The Bears have the hardest remaining strength of schedule in the NFL, mostly because they have not played a divisional game yet. The other three teams in the NFC North are all legitimate contenders in the conference.
First, there are some clear home/road splits for the Bears, who are 4-0 straight-up and against the spread at home (one game was in London) but 0-4 for both on the road. They have a run of three straight home games with the Packers and Vikings on deck after this game against New England.
This is mostly a fade of New England, though, which lost in overtime last week to the Titans despite Drake Maye’s last-second heroics in regulation.
According to Action Network’s Evan Abrams, teams that are coming off an overtime game and are playing their next game on eight or fewer days of rest are 108-136-3 against the spread over the last decade.
If you have trouble laying the six points with the Bears, you could focus your bet on the first half. The Patriots are 2-7 against the spread in the first half this season, which ties them for the worst such record in the NFL with the Panthers.
If the spread moves to Bears -6.5, then I would shift my bet on Chicago to the first-half spread.
Pick: Bears -6 (-110)
