The New York Jets (3-10) and Jacksonville Jaguars (3-10) will face off in NFL Week 15. Kickoff is set for in 1 p.m. ET from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville. The game will be broadcast live on FOX and can be streamed on YouTube TV.

The Jets are favored by 3.5 points with the game total set at 40.5 points scored. The Jets are -170 favorites to win outright, while the Jaguars are +145 to pull off the upset.

The Jets lost 32-26 in overtime to the Dolphins last week. Aaron Rodgers threw for 339 yards in the loss, with both Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams notching more than 100 receiving yards. The Jaguars won 10-6 over the Titans last week to end a five-game losing streak. Mac Jones threw for 220 yards with two interceptions.

Let's get into my Jaguars vs Jets predictions and NFL picks.

Spread

I'm looking to fade Mac Jones every time I can.

Here, we're betting against the Jaguars and laying three points with the Jets.

Over/Under

I'm passing on a bet on the game total, although an under on the Jaguars team total sure is appealing.

My Pick: Jets -3 (-120)

Jets vs. Jaguars NFL Week 15 Preview

This is the only game of Week 15 featuring teams that have been eliminated from playoff contention. That doesn’t mean we can’t win a bet on it, though!

The Jaguars defense ranks dead last in DVOA, and the offense might be the NFL’s worst with Trevor Lawrence out and Mac Jones under center.

Jacksonville has scored 10 or fewer points in three of Jones’ four starts this season, and the game it reached 20 was because of two garbage-time touchdowns.

Take those garbage-time touchdowns against the Texans out of the equation, and the Jaguars have scored 29 points on 36 drives with Jones as their starting quarterback this season. That’s horrendous.

I thought about the under on the Jaguars team total, which hit last week. If Jacksonville only scores 10 points, though, the Jets will win the game and cover. So, I’m just going to back New York.

Jones is 6-16 against the spread (ATS) in his NFL career as an underdog, while Aaron Rodgers covers at a 62% clip as a one-score favorite. Granted, this isn’t the Rodgers of old, but I trust New York much more than Jacksonville.

I’d obviously prefer Jets -3, but don’t be intimidated by -3.5. Non-divisional road favorites cover at a 57% clip when the spread is that big.

My Pick: Jets -3 (-120)
