Betting on NFL Anytime Touchdown parlays is incredibly fun even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type, so how do we scratch the parlay itch without ruining ourselves financially?
Allow me to introduce, “The 180 Challenge.” Here’s how it works:
Each week, I bet a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that equates to +1800 or more at BetMGM — $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season.
The goal is obviously to win as much as possible. BUT, the safety net is you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back.
If you go 0-18 (which would be unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. This way, we can still participate with fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll.
Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than a 5% chance of hitting and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for recreation.
Here’s my Anytime Touchdown Parlay for Week 16 at +1681 at BetMGM:
Fields has a plus matchup against a Cardinals defense that's allowed the fifth-most rushing touchdowns this season and four scores to quarterbacks.
The Bears have unleashed Fields over the latter half of the season as the Ohio State product has 49 carries over his last four games.
This could be the week he finds the end zone again.
Pacheco missed the last two Chiefs games because of shoulder surgery, but he's good to go for Sunday.
The Chiefs running back has seven touchdowns on the season, with three coming over the last two games he played. Pacheco is 10th in the league in red-zone carries (36) despite those games he missed.
The last time the Chiefs played the Raiders, Pacheco found the end zone twice. With bad weather expected at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs should lean on the run.
I'm going back to the well with Likely, who's scored in back-to-back games now.
He's essentially taken over Mark Andrews' role in Baltimore's offense, racking up 19 targets in his last three games.
The 49ers are obviously a tough matchup, but they do rank in the bottom 10 in targets to tight ends this season and have some trouble covering slot pass-catchers.
