  • Sunday's NFL Week 8 game between the New York Jets and Chicago Bears (1 p.m. ET on CBS) will feature strong winds throughout the game.
  • The over/under opened at 46 at Pinnacle and has since dropped to 42.5.

The New York Jets and Chicago Bears don't exactly have explosive passing offenses, ranking 27th and 20th, respectively, in the NFL in passing yards per game.

Both teams have enough problems moving the ball through the air in perfect conditions. And Sunday's forecast certainly isn't perfect.

Soldier Field is expecting swirling breezes of 15 mph that will strengthen as the game progresses.

According to Sports Insights' Bet Labs software, unders are 444-352-10 (55.8%) in NFL games played with winds of least 10 mph.

Whether it's the forecast, the matchup on the field or a combination of both, the betting market is expecting a lower-scoring game, as well.

Pinnacle opened this over/under at 46 and has dropped the number to 42.5 as of Sunday morning. According to The Action Network's public betting data, 66% percent of dollars wagered on the total have played the under, explaining the movement so far.
