Malik Willis is one of the more polarizing quarterbacks to enter the NFL draft.

In what is an apparent down year for quarterbacks, Willis has risen to the top based on athletic ability and a cannon for an arm.

But he did not put up incredible numbers during his two years as a starter at Liberty.

During his senior season, he threw for 2,857 yards, 27 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also tallied 878 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.

According to most draft experts and the current draft props, he is expected to be the first quarterback off the board.

He is currently -155 at BetMGM to be the first quarterback taken in the 2022 NFL Draft. Kenny Pickett is the next closest at +130.

Although, in Peter King's latest mock draft — in which he predicted Travon Walker going first overall that resulted in some odds movement — King didn't even have Willis going in the first round and Pickett was the only QB in the opening round.

Mel Kiper Jr. has been much more bullish on Willis' chances — he had him going No. 6 overall in his latest mock draft that was released on April 13. In Todd McShay's latest mock on April 5, he had Willis going 20th to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In the mock where Kiper and McShay took turns on April 19, Kiper took Willis at No. 6 to the Carolina Panthers.

FanDuel listed odds for picks 1-10 and Willis' most likely destination was No. 6 overall at +430 odds.

Circa Sports, which posted over/under lines for 32 different players, posted Willis' over/under at 15.5 with -115 on both sides.

PointsBet has given Willis +100 odds to go in the top 10 of the draft and +400 to go in the top five.

It's clear that Willis' draft position is unpredictable, with mock drafts having him as high as No. 6 and as low as the second round.

He will be one of the more interesting picks on draft day.
