The NFL has fined Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper $300,000 for "unacceptable conduct" during the Panthers vs. Jaguars game this past Sunday.
Tepper was filmed relinquishing a drink in the direction of a heckling Jaguars fan after the game this past week.

“I am deeply passionate about this team and regret my behavior on Sunday. I should have let NFL stadium security handle any issues that arose," Tepper said in a statement. "I respect the NFL’s code of conduct and accept the League’s discipline for my behavior.”

The Panthers are 2-14 this season and 31-67 since Tepper took over as the owner. He fired head coach Frank Reich in the middle of the season in his first season as head coach of the Panthers. Tepper has now fired three coaches in six seasons, including Matt Rhule, who Tepper gave an seven-year, $60 million before firing him in his first year.
According to Darren Rovell, Tepper is worth $20.6 billion. A $300,000 fine is the equivalent of fining the average American $1.77.
