NFL Odds & Picks
Bengals vs. Bills
In the first encounter of the day, bettors are feeling an upset brewing.
The Bills opened as -3.5 or 4-point favorites depending on the book, but that number has ballooned to 5.5 or 6 now. That's perhaps due to a number that respected bettors viewed as incorrect, but it could also be due to the mounting Bengals' injury list.
According to BetMGM, 66% of the action on the spread resides with the Bengals while 60% of the money is one the same side. The Bengals also account for 59% of the money in the moneyline market.
The over is the side that bettors are really in love with, as 72% of the tickets and 62% of the over/under bets are on that side, with the number currently 48.5.
It will be interesting to see where that spread number closes.
Cowboys vs. 49ers
On the West Coast, there is a similar trend regarding the total and moneyline positions that the public is taking.
72% of the wagers and 80% of the handle are on the high side of the total with the number set at 46.5
The Niners opened at -4.5 for this game, but this number went as low as -3 before coming back to -4 and settling there. 63% of the spread tickets and 58% of the money is on the 49ers.
In the moneyline market, 63% of the wagers and 58% of the money is on the Cowboys to pull off the upset.
The winner of this one will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles next Sunday.
