Betting on an NFL parlay for Week 17 via Anytime Touchdown Scorers is incredibly fun, even if it's mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this type of bet, so how do we scratch the “parlay itch” without overextending ourselves financially?

Allow me to introduce “The 180 Challenge.” Here’s how it works.

Every week, I'll be betting a three-leg NFLanytime TD parlay that equates to +1800 or more. $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season.

The goal is to win as much as possible. But the safety net is you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back. If you go 0-for-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180.

By doing it this way, we can still be in on the fun with touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard with bad spending habits. We hit our first 22-1 parlay of the season back in Week 6, and then followed that up with a 20-1 winner in Week 10. That means we’re playing with house money the rest of the season, but that doesn't mean we can't keep winning.

Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than a 5% chance of hitting, and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for fun.

Continue below for my NFL parlay picks for Week 17.

Davante Adams Anytime Touchdown (+165)

Davante Adams has been a standout player this season, with seven touchdowns so far. Over the past four games, he has been on fire with five touchdowns. He has 94 targets in just nine games with the Jets this season, showcasing his consistent involvement in the offense.

Adams is Aaron Rodgers' top target in the red zone, with 11 targets in the last four games alone. Rodgers is on 499 passing touchdowns, and he'd love for the 500th to go to Adams.

The Bills defense has struggled recently, allowing 11 receiving touchdowns over the last three games. Given Adams' recent form and the Bills' defensive woes, it's highly likely that Adams will continue his scoring streak this week. Expect him to find the end zone once again in Week 17.

Jonnu Smith Anytime Touchdown (+205)

Editor's note: This pick was made before Tua Tagovailoa was downgraded to doubtful.

Jonnu Smith has six touchdowns this season, with five of those coming in the last six games. In that span, Smith has seen a significant increase in red-zone usage, with 11 of his 15 red-zone targets coming during this stretch. We'll keep backing him here.

This week, Smith could see even more opportunities as his team faces the Browns, whose defense has allowed a touchdown to a tight end in two of the last three games.

Davante Adams Anytime Touchdown (+165)

Jordan Addison has nine touchdowns this season. Over the last five games, he’s had 12 red-zone targets, which is equal to teammate Justin Jefferson.

Addison has also excelled against zone defenses, making this a great matchup against Green Bay. The Packers playing zone at a top-seven rate in the NFL, so Addison appears poised to continue his scoring ways.

This game is expected to feature a lot of passing with two high-scoring offenses playing indoors. When the Vikings faced the Packers earlier this season, Addison scored twice and the teams combined for 60 points. With that in mind, I'm all over Addison this week.
