Betting an NFL parlay for Anytime Touchdown Scorers is incredibly fun even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type so how do we scratch the “parlay itch” without overextending ourselves financially?

Allow me to introduce, “The 180 Challenge.” Here’s how it works:

Each week, I'll be betting a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that comes out to +1800 or more. So, we'll play $10 per parlay, $180 total for the season.

The goal is obviously to win as much as possible. But the safety net is you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back. If you go 0-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. (Fortunately, that didn't happen last year.) This way, we can still participate in the fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard on bad spending habits.

Let's get into my NFL Parlay for Week 1, which features three touchdown scorers and gets us to 22-1.

NFL Parlay Week 1

  • Calvin Ridley ATD +220
  • Davante Adams ATD +205
  • Mike Evans ATD +130

Calvin Ridley

Anytime TD (+220)

Ridley had eight touchdowns last year and was third in the NFL with 26 red zone targets. The Bears' defense is much more competent in stopping the run rather than the air game.

They also gave up the fifth-most touchdowns to wide receivers last season. Give me Ridley to score in his first game as a Titan.

Pick: Calvin Ridley Anytime TD (+220)

Davante Adams

Anytime TD (+205)

Everyone will be betting on Adams this week after the Chargers talked smack in the offseason. In his last four games against the Chargers, Adamas scored in three with four total touchdowns.

Adams also had the second-most red zone targets last year. The Raiders will feed him the ball.

Pick: Davante Adams Anytime TD (+205)

Commanders vs. Buccaneers

Mike Evans

Anytime TD (+130)

We're circling back to the TD God himself on this one. Evans had 13 last year and the Commanders gave up the most to receivers last year.

They also ranked last in defensive DVOA vs WR1s and were 30th in defensive DVOA to the deep ball.

Pick: Mike Evans Anytime TD (+130)
