Jaguars vs. Steelers
By Simon Hunter
What the hell is this team? The Steelers can’t move the ball, then they drive right down the field with ease. They give up easy throws teams drive right down the field for seven points. Then in the second half, opponents offense can’t cross the 50-yard line.
Every year, we have a team that just plays over its head because of coaching. Last year, it was the Giants. This season, it’s no doubt Pittsburgh.
So here, stop trying to make it make sense. Just take Tomlin as a 'dog.
Forecasts are calling for bad rain and wind, which is exactly what the Steelers are built for. They’ll be able to ball control against this Jaguars team and have a huge advantage with their defensive line. Also, Trevor Lawrence has struggle playing in bad weather. He lost three fumbles against the Eagles when he played in bad weather last season.
Take the two points because it’s a key number. Throw a little on the moneyline and realize you can’t fight it: Anytime Tomlin is a home 'dog, you gotta just trust the number and take it.
Pick: Steelers +2 (-110)

Bengals vs. 49ers
By Simon Hunter
Beware of the public 'dog, people.
Everyone loves the Bengals this week, mostly because they're coming off their bye week and forgot how horrible this offense is. Joe Burrow is terrible right now when throwing the ball 20 or more yards down the field, which is worst in the league terrible.
On the other side of the ball, the Bengals defense is 30th against the run and 28th in yards given up per carry. Left tackle Trent Williams should be back for this game, and we have another week for running back Christian McCaffrey to get healthier. He wasn’t even on the injury report all week.
Monday Night Football last week against the Vikings was a fluke. It just looks so much worse to you because it was a standalone game.
This number should be -6.5. We’re still getting a full point of value under a key number. Not only is this a bad matchup for the Bengals, but it’s a bad spot. I’d take this up to 49ers -6.
