NFL Player Props | Bills vs Ravens
The Ravens backfield has been a revolving door throughout the entire season, and backs Justice Hill and Gus Edwards are the next men up.
Following running back Keaton Mitchell's injury in Week 15, Hill has taken on a new role as a reliable receiver out of the backfield. He has recorded 11, 26, 64, and 31 receiving yards in his last four games, with an average of 10.3 yards per catch.
There will certainly be competition for rush attempts between Edwards and Hill, but that fades away when the Ravens look to pass. According to FantasyLife Utilization, Hill has played 83.4% of long downs-and-distance snaps and 93% of snaps in 2-minute drills since Week 16. Last week against the Texans, Hill ran 17 routes compared to only five routes by Edwards.
The Chiefs defense has allowed six different running backs to tally at least 14 receiving yards in their last four games, and that should continue when they focus on limiting Lamar Jackson’s rushing upside. According to FTNNetwork, the Chiefs allow 27.6 receiving yards to running backs per game, and their passing DVOA versus running backs ranks among the bottom 10 in the NFL. Consequently, this sets up as a favorable spot for Hill.
