NFL Player Props For Week 12

Carson Wentz Over 230.5 Pass Yards

The Colts will have to lean on Wentz more against the Bucs' pass-funnel defense. The Colts will also have to keep pace with Tom Brady and the Bucs' high-scoring offense. Therefore I'm projecting this closer to 245.5 yards and would play it up to 238.5 yards.

Cam Newton Over 29.5 Rush Yards

The Dolphins’ high rate of man coverage should give Newton opportunities to take off and run for chunk gains. His rushing upside is also generally high right now, given he’s likely shaken off the rust after playing in two games, but he’s also still fresh as he hasn’t taken too many hits this late in the season.

I’m projecting him for 41.5 rushing yards.

Ty Johnson Over 22.5 Rush Yards

With Michael Carter expected to miss the next couple of games, Tevin Coleman and Ty Johnson will pick up the slack. Coleman will likely get the start, but Johnson is still a good bet to see 7-9 rush attempts here.

The Jets are only 2.5-point underdogs against the Texans (check real-time NFL odds here), meaning the Jets should be able to run the ball at a higher rate than usual. I'm projecting Johnson closer to 30.5 and would take up to 25.5 yards.

Dontrell Hilliard Over 18.5 Rec Yards

Hilliard stepped up for the injured Jeremy McNichols last week with an 8/47/0 receiving line. With McNichols out again along with A.J. Brown, and the Titans positions as 7-point road underdogs, I'm expecting Hilliard to be heavily involved as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.

I'm projecting this closer to 26.5 and would take it up to 21.5 yards.

Elijah Moore Over 43.5 Rec Yards

Corey Davis has been downgraded to doubtful due to his groin injury. As a result, I've bumped up Moore's receiving projection closer to 50.5 yards.

Moore is one of the top rookie WRs, and he has broken out over the past few games, going over this number in four straight. I would take this up to 46.5 yards.
