It's crazy that we're already here, but the NFL Thanksgiving slate is already here.

We have three games that are very different on Turkey Day 2024. The Lions are huge favorites over the woeful Bears, and Giants vs. Cowboys could be one of the worst games of the season. Then, at night, we have a potentially good game with the thriving Dolphins facing the Packers.

Here are NFL odds and predictions for all three games.

Odds below are from BetMGM and as of 7:45 p.m. ET on Sunday night.

Bears vs. Lions

Thursday, Nov. 28
12:30 p.m. ET
CBS
  • Spread: Lions -10.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under: 48.5 points scored
  • Moneyline: Lions -650, Bears +450

The Bears cannot stop losing.

After a promising 4-2 start to the season, Chicago has lost five straight and killed any playoff hopes it had.

One positive is that Caleb Williams had some impressive moments in the Bears’ 30-27 overtime loss to the Vikings. While he took a brutal sack on the Bears’ first drive in overtime, he was 32-of-47 for the game, throwing for 340 yards and two touchdowns.

The Lions, meanwhile, kept on chugging with a 24-6 win over the Colts. Detroit is 10-1 and the clear favorite in the NFC.

Jared Goff was 26-of-36 for 269 yards, but Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery combined for three rushing touchdowns. The Lions defense shut down Anthony Richardson (11-of-28 for 172 yards) and kept Jonathan Taylor in check with 11 carries for 35 yards.

Betting Tip

If you’re uncomfortable laying so many points with the Lions, the over has covered in eight of the last 12 Thanksgiving games played in Detroit.

Williams showed promise against the Vikings, as did the Bears offense. Chicago will have to keep up with Detroit here, and while it may not be able to win the game or cover, its offense is trending upward since firing offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

Giants vs. Cowboys

Thursday, Nov. 28
4:30 p.m. ET
FOX
  • Spread: Cowboys -3.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under: 38.5 points scored
  • Moneyline: Cowboys -190, Giants +155

While you may play the Turkey Bowl every year with your family, this one is the Toilet Bowl.

One team is at least coming into this game with some positive momentum.

The Cowboys pulled off a huge upset as 10.5-point underdogs against the Commanders, with Cooper Rush impressing. He was 24-of-32 (75%) for 247 yards and two touchdown passes. The running game even showed some life as Rico Dowdle ran for 86 yards.

Despite allowing 26 points, the Cowboys' defense will also be encouraged by its performance. Jayden Daniels threw for 275 yards, but 86 of those came on a long touchdown to Terry McLaurin in a situation that won’t come up every week (it still wasn’t great).

The Giants, like the Cowboys this season, are toast.

Tommy DeVito led a hopeless offense against the Buccaneers. He was 21-of-31 for 189 yards and was sacked four times.

Betting Tip

The over has hit for the Cowboys’ last four Thanksgiving games. Obviously, that won’t be an enticing pick, given the quarterbacks, but it’s the best trend here.

Dolphins vs. Packers

Thursday, Nov. 28
8:15 p.m. ET
NBC
  • Spread: Packers -3.5
  • Over/Under: 47.5 points scored
  • Moneyline: Packers -190, Dolphins +155

From the Toilet Bowl to a matchup of two teams that are thriving.

The Dolphins have won three straight games and much like Stella, its offense has gotten its groove back.

Miami has scored 34 points in back-to-back games against the Raiders and Patriots, and Tua Tagovailoa threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns against New England.

The Packers, meanwhile, just keep winning, as well. They're 8-3 even though their offense isn't exactly thriving outside of Josh Jacobs. The offseason acquisition scored three touchdowns and had more than 100 rushing yards in Green Bay's blowout win over the 49ers.

Betting Tip

Dating back to 2005, night favorites on Thanksgiving are 13-4 against the spread, and the under is 11-6.
