Eagles vs. Giants
The Eagles have been struggling mightily, going 1-4 over their last 5 games is a dismal stretch run.
Their defense has been a serious issue, which was highlighted by the Cardinals last week. Arizona put 35 points on Philadelphia and didn’t even have a punt attempt.
Philly’s woes could continue in this rivalry game against the Giants. CB Darius Slay (knee) has been ruled out and New York’s move away from Tommy DeVito to Tyrod Taylor is a pretty big upgrade. Taylor was excellent in his start against the Rams and I don’t think the market is factoring that in enough.
Darren Waller looked close to 100% last week and I think he could have a big game against an Eagles defense that has struggled to defend tight ends all season.
As for the Eagles offense, they won’t have DeVonta Smith (ankle), who’s set to miss the first game of his NFL career.
Philadelphia doesn’t have much to play for in this game. It needs Dallas to lose to Washington to improve playoff seeding, which isn’t likely.
We could see the Eagles rest more starters – like Jalen Hurts – in the second half if/when the Cowboys build a big lead.
Pick: Giants +5 (-110)

Cowboys vs. Commanders
This game has the lowest Luck Total rating of Week 18 at -8.3, which is a strong signal toward the under, not to mention when we see a Luck Total under with divisional teams playing for the second time, it’s gone 20-10 (67%).
Commanders LT Charles Leno suffered a season-ending calf injury a couple of weeks ago and RT Andrew Wylie (elbow) might miss his second straight game. If Wylie is ruled out, that could be a huge issue.
But either way, the Cowboys defense should be able to tee off on Sam Howell and prevent Washington from putting up too many points.
The Cowboys offense should be able to move the ball through the air and build a lead on Washington early. However, they could have issues once they lean on the run more.
Dallas LG Tyler Smith (foot) is listed as questionable, which is interesting considering he logged no practices in the lead up to this game. There’s a chance he could be ruled out. That would give a starting opportunity to T.J. Bass, who’s struggled when given opportunities this season.
I’m projecting this total closer to 45.
Pick: Under 46.5 (-105)
