The Packers will have a similar game plan in Week 3. Jordan Love will get the start and play the majority of the game. Danny Etling will likely play the final 1-1.5 quarters.

The Chiefs rotation is still a mystery. Even if Patrick Mahomes plays tonight, I would imagine it would only be for 1-2 drives. Chad Henne sat out last week, but as the clear No. 2 quarterback, I would expect him to get 1-1.5 quarters of action tonight. Shane Buechele and Dustin Crom will close out the game.

Love’s chemistry with the Packers WRs and extended playing time should give the Packers the edge tonight. I’m expecting the Chiefs to announce they are resting Patrick Mahomes, which should cause the line to move a bit. I’m locking in Packers -1.5.

Pick: Packers -1.5

Trey Lance is expected to get the start and play 2-3 drives. There is a chance Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle will see similar playing time tonight as this is being treated as a dress rehearsal. Nate Sudfeld and Brock Purdy will likely split time the rest of the way.

The Texans are expected to play their starters for most of the first half. It’s still unclear if Brandin Cooks will see much playing time, but I would expect him to be out there for at least 1-2 drives since the Texans want to get the first-team offense some reps tonight.

I think both teams will be very aggressive on offense in the first half as a result and like the over at 22.5. The second half will be a much different story, though, as the scoring environment for the game will come crashing down.

I will be looking to come in on the under for the second half if it’s 17.5 or higher. As always, follow me in the Action app to get notified of any other pregame or in-game bets I make once they become official.

Pick: 1H Over 22.5
