We have a pair of Monday Night Football games for the second straight week. Once again, the schedule gives us twice as many choices for our pick'em plays on PrizePicks.
We're on a bit of a roll, going 3-for-3 on the Thursday Night Football picks earlier this week, and 2-for-3 last Monday. Let's stay hot with my NFL PrizePicks for De'Von Achane, David Montgomery, and Kenneth Walker on Monday Night Football!
NFL PrizePicks Plays: Monday Night Football
De'Von Achane More Than 3 Receptions
Achane will be playing with his fourth different quarterback in four games, but the constant changes under center haven’t affected his receiving role. Achane's 19 targets on the season are tied with Breece Hall for the most at the position. Miami is 3rd in the league in running back target share. Achane matched Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for the team lead in targets last week.
Tyler Huntley will draw the start for the Dolphins. He has a reasonable 64.6% completion rate for his career, although he's only made nine starts in his four seasons. Huntley hasn't topped four air yards per attempt in any season, so there should be plenty of short area targets available. Achane's average depth of target is -0.6 this season.
The matchup against Tennessee is mediocre. They're 15th in targets allowed to running backs. The Titans are slight favorites, so the Dolphins could be playing from behind. Will Levis just needs to cool it.
David Montgomery More Than 0.5 Rushing / Receiving TDs
Montgomery just continues to find the end zone. He's scored in every game this season, and eight of his last nine games going back to last year (including the playoffs).
Montgomery is ceding work to Jahmyr Gibbs, more so in the passing game. Gibbs has a 53.3% snap share compared to 44.8% for Montgomery, but the veteran has the edge on the ground. Montgomery has earned 50.5% of the rush share compared to 39.6% for Gibbs.
The red zone carries between the two backs have actually been even, with each player getting nine of them. The efficiency? That's a different story. Montgomery has turned his nine red zone carries into 40 yards and three TDs. Gibbs has just 15 yards and one score.
Seattle has been middling on the ground, but they're dealing with two key injuries up front. Stud defensive linemen Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy are both out for this game, which makes this matchup much easier.
Kenneth Walker Less Than 55.5 Rushing Yards
Walker missed two games with an oblique injury, but he's been cleared to return for Week 4. He'll be greeted by one of the most imposing run defenses in the league. Walker will also have to deal with a potential workload split with the emerging Zach Charbonnet.
Detroit has allowed the 4th-fewest rushing yards per game. They've held running backs to the 2nd-fewest rushing yards per game and the 2nd-worst yards per carry. It's an extremely challenging matchup, especially on the road as an underdog. An early deficit will likely lead to Seattle leaning on Geno Smith and the passing game.
Charbonnet performed admirably in Walker's stead, turning 32 carries in 129 yards and three touchdowns. Walker dominated the rushing share in Week 1, but it wouldn't be surprising if Charbonnet eats into his volume, especially in his first game back from the injury.
