NFL Prop For Giants vs. WFT
Terry McLaurin is one of the better up-and-coming receivers in the NFL.

One of the most impressive things about McLaurin is he always seems to produce, even when the Football Team trots out below-average quarterbacks like Dwayne Haskins, Alex Smith or Kyle Allen (see: all of 2020).
That's why I was excited to see how McLaurin would fare with a gunslinger like Ryan Fitzpatrick under center in 2021. Unfortunately, that QB-WR duo lasted all of 16 plays in Week 1 before Fitzpatrick suffered what turned out to be a multi-week injury. Now Washington will turn to Taylor Heinicke, but I don't consider it too much of a drop-off as I pointed out in my TNF preview.
The Giants' offense will struggle to put up points against a stingy Washington defense. As a result, Heinicke shouldn't need to air it out in order to put the Giants away. McLaurin will likely face James Bradberry or Adoree' Jackson, and potentially see double coverage at times. It could funnel more targets to Logan Thomas, Dyami Brown, Adam Humphries, Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic.
I'm projecting McLaurin for 5.1 receptions with a 59% chance of going under 5.5 receptions. The fact we get +110 odds here makes it even more appealing. I also like the idea of attacking the under for his receptions because I would not be surprised to see him haul in a deep pass or two and clear his yardage prop.
I would bet it down to Under 5.5 (-125).
