Chargers-Raiders Prop Bet on Sunday Night Football
Josh Jacobs Over 58.5 Rush Yards
Jacobs is expected to play through a rib injury tonight, in what is a must-win game for the Raiders. He’s been effective playing through injuries in the past and I have no reason to believe tonight will be any different.
The Chargers rank dead last in Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA, which means Jacobs should be able to find plenty of running lanes tonight. Los Angeles has allowed 12 different running backs to rush for 60+ yards this season.
The Raiders will likely lean on Jacobs heavily with the stakes being so high tonight. I’m projecting the Raiders for 26 rush attempts as a team, with Jacobs getting approximately 65% of their attempts. That would put him around 16.5 attempts for 68.5 yards. I would bet this up to 62.5.
Pick: Over 58.5 Rush Yards (-115) at BetMGM
What Are NFL Player Prop Bets?
Bets on a player's statistics or various outcomes can be considered a player prop. Betting on the over or under on a quarterback's passing yards, over or under on a wide receiver's number of receptions, and whether a running back will score a touchdown are all considered player props.
