Texans vs. Cowboys Parlay Tonight
- Texans First Half -3.5 (-111)
- Tank Dell Anytime Touchdown (+175)
- Jalen Brooks Under 1.5 Receptions (-140)
Parlay Odds: +700 (bet365)
Texans First Half -3.5 (-111)
Nick Giffen: This matchup features a hige expected early down success rate differential for Houston, which is at 6.4% for Houston the last six weeks compared to -5.6% for Dallas.
In terms of first drive scoring, the Texans have posted two touchdowns compared to none for the Cowboys.
Based on this spread, the market is saying Cooper Rush is only approximately 3-4 points worse than Dak Prescott, but Sean Koerner's ratings have this closer to 5-6 points.
I'm sticking to the first half here just because the Texans have turned into pumpkins in the second half this season.
Tank Dell Anytime Touchdown (+175)
Gilles Gallant: Tank Dell is coming off of back-to-back games where he's recorded nine targets.
The Cowboys rank 29th in defensive DVOA against the pass, so the Houston passing game should find quite a bit of success tonight.
The return of Nico Collins should also boost the Texans' passing game as a whole tonight.
Jalen Brooks Under 1.5 Receptions (-140)
Sean Koerner: It's always a bit risky taking the under on a low receptions prop like this in what should be a trailing game script for the Cowboys for most of the game. But I do think the Cowboys try to lean on their run game as much as possible tonight.
When Cooper Rush does drop back to pass, he will be looking for CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson. If those reads aren't there, he will dump it off to the running back or look for Jalen Tolbert.
Brooks could see a few targets, but they tend to be lower percentage downfield shots. Those aren't throws Rush is equipped to make.
That'll be especially true against a Texans cornerback group that has allowed the third-lowest completion percentage to wide receivers.
Plus, the Cowboys recently traded for former second-round pick Jonathan Mingo. There's a chance he gets some playing time tonight, which could be at the expense of Brooks.
