After favorites owned last week, underdogs reigned supreme throughout the Sunday morning slate of Week 2 NFL action.

According to Action Network’s Evan Abrams, NFL favorites went 13-3 straight up on the moneyline (9-7 ATS) in Week 1. That mark tied the best SU record for Week 1 favorites since realignment in 2002 (also 13-3 SU in 2009). Fortune flipped this weekend for Sunday's early games. Underdogs went 7-3 ATS during the early window and 6-4 SU: • Vikings (+4.5) def. 49ers, 23-17
Saints (+6) def. Cowboys, 44-19
Browns (+3) def. Jaguars, 18-13
Packers (+2.5) def. Colts, 16-10
Buccaneers (+7.5) def. Lions, 20-16
• Raiders (+8.5) def. Ravens, 26-23
Patriots (+3.5) lost Seahawks in OT, 23-20

The Raiders rallied from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to take down the Ravens, continuing Baltimore's troubling trend of fourth-quarter meltdowns over recent seasons. The defeat dropped the Ravens to 0-2 for the first time since 2015. Meanwhile, Sam Darnold and the Vikings offense jumpstarted the upset bid with a 97-yard touchdown connection with Justin Jefferson. Minnesota outgunned San Francisco's high-powered offense to improve to 2-0.

Perhaps the most surprising upset was pulled off by the Packers, who held off the Colts for a 16-10 win, despite starting backup quarterback Malik Willis.

Willis Matt LaFleur leaned on his rushing attack, highlighted by running back Josh Jacobs tallying 32 carries for 151 yards. Willis went 12-for-14 with 122 yards and one touchdown; bettors on Willis’ under 165.5 passing total (-115) certainly enjoyed seeing Green Bay’s run-heavy offensive game plan.
