As if the Buffalo Bills taking on the New York Jets on Monday Night Football wasn't interesting enough, how about the possibility of rain at MetLife Stadium as well?
The latest NFL weather forecast for Bills vs. Jets is calling for rain in East Rutherford, N.J. on Monday, but the key question for fans, bettors and fantasy football players is the timing of any precipitation tonight.
So, will Josh Allen and Jets new quarterback Aaron Rodgers be forced to deal with slippery conditions?
NFL Weather Forecast for Bills vs. Jets
According to the National Weather Service, Monday's forecast looks wet in East Rutherford, N.J.
There's a 70% chance of rain at MetLife Stadium tonight, which then dips slightly to 60% into the evening.
But as I mentioned above, it's the timing that's key.
At 8 p.m. ET, there's a 36% chance of rain, which is important considering tonight's 8:15 p.m. ET scheduled kickoff.
That 36% chance remains through 10 p.m. ET before dropping to just 9% at 11 p.m. ET going forward.
While it's unlikely wet weather impacts this game, if rain does fall at MetLife Stadium, expect it to be at the start of the game and then taper off into the second half.
According to live NFL odds, the Bills are currently 2-point road favorites against the Jets with the Monday Night Football over/under sitting at 44.5.
