  • Using The Action Network's betting tools, we've analyzed how windy conditions are impacting four games on the Week 3 NFL slate, including Giants-Bucs.

We have two straight days of windy weather across America and it just so happens that they perfectly align with the college football and NFL slates. More wind equals more opportunities to bet on windy unders — one of life's simple pleasures.

There have only been a measly two NFL games this season with average wind speeds of at least 10 mph and both have been in Oakland. Both have also gone under, raising the historical record for windy unders (10-plus mph) to 439-349-8 (55.7%).

Here are the games that are meteorologically relevant on Sunday, including a nasty forecast for Ravens vs. Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Ravens vs. Chiefs Weather Report

One of the week's highest totals also has what could be the week's highest winds at 15 mph.

It's also gonna be a wet one, with rain expected all night, all morning and during the game. In fact, some thunder and lightning could cause a delay at some point.

Initially, this total skyrocketed from 51.5 to 55.5. Since then, it's back down to 52, as sharp bettors have bought back the under big time — perhaps with this forecast in mind.

Bengals vs. Bills Weather Report

Buffalo should stay dry, but 12 mph winds could impact Andy Dalton's deep balls to John Ross. Same goes for the big-armed, big-handed Josh Allen, whose Bills are attempting to start the season 3-0.

This total also skyrocketed after opening, moving from 40.5 to 44.5. However, it has not plummeted (that's the word I'm looking for) like the BAL-KC game. It has dropped a half point to 44, but there's still plenty of room for droppage.

Giants vs. Bucs Weather Report

The Daniel Jones era has begun! However, young Danny boy will have to endure the warm and windy conditions that Raymond James Stadium will be featuring on Sunday.

With temperatures ranging from 90 at kickoff to 84 by game's end, players will need to stay hydrated to avoid things like heat exhaustion, heat stroke and other heat-related ailments.

I will note that warm and windy games haven't had the same edge that other games have per Bet Labs.

  • Windy unders w/ 80+ degree temps: 35-33 (51.5%)
  • Windy unders w/ <80 degree temps: 404-316-8 (56.1%)

This total has remained at or within a half point of its opener of 48.

Rams at Browns

An actual primetime game with two solid teams & two solid quarterbacks…don't get used to it! With what's already the most-heavily bet game of the weekend, Rams-Browns is certainly going to get plenty of attention from fans and bettors of all types.

While the spread has seen dual-sided sharp action around the key number of three, the under is the only way big bettors are tackling the total.

It's actually quite popular in terms of both tickets (66%) and dollars (90%), which has helped push the total down from 51 to 47.5.
