We have a Monday Night Football showdown in Kansas City for our fifth week of Tix Pick 6. I know Taylor Swift missed the last two games, but a lot is adding up this week that makes me think we’ll be seeing her again.
The game is in Kansas City and it’s the last game for at least a month as she’ll be back on tour after the Chiefs' bye week. Plus it’s Travis Kelce’s birthday this weekend AND Jason Kelce will be an analyst on Monday Night Countdown, so it may be a whole family affair at Arrowhead.

NFL Week 5 Picks: Saints at Chiefs Monday Night Football
As mentioned, this week should be a fun one. We’ll have Travis Kelce on the field, Jason Kelce on ESPN, and hopefully appearances from Taylor and the rest of the fam as the undefeated Chiefs take on the 2-2 New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
Taylor Swift Picks for Saints-Chiefs
We’re going back to guessing who will be in the suite this week — reminder, you automatically win points if Taylor isn’t there. With Jason Kelce also being there, I think it’s a safe bet that this could be a whole family affair. Any members of the Kelce family aside from Jason seem like safe bets. I definitely could see Taylor’s family joining them as well this week.
Speaking of Jason … if you’re a Swiftie, I’m sure you’ve noticed how supportive Jason is of Taylor. Whether it was him showing off an arm full of friendship bracelets at the Eras Tour in London, praising her during his podcast or other media appearances, interacting with fans on X, or even dropping some song references into a recent interview … one thing is for sure, Jason is a Swiftie.
So for the second prop this week, we’re guessing how many times Jason will indirectly or directly talk about Taylor Swift during the halftime show.

Betting Picks for Saints vs. Chiefs

The Chiefs are the favorite for the fifth straight week, while the Saints are getting 5.5 points. You pick the Chiefs if you think they’ll win by six or more points and the Saints if you think they’ll win or they’ll lose by five or fewer points.
In betting we often track two things. First, what are people betting on the most? This will typically show you what the public is doing. Second, what are people betting the most money on? This often shows us what the professional gamblers are betting as they are typically the ones betting large amounts of money and their opinion can offer differ from the public.
That’s not the case for this game. Using Action PRO, I can see that right now 71% of the bets and 85% of the money are on the Saints +5.5 spread.
This also aligns with many of the experts from the Action Network. Chad Millman gave out the Saints as his executive decision on The Favorites this week. Additionally, this is a “luck game,” according to our predictive analytics team. I won’t get into the nitty gritty of what this means — if you want to learn more check out this article. What’s important to know is that the picks given out based on the luck rankings last week went 10-1-1.
So with that said, I’m getting in the Getaway Car with Derek Carr and I’m taking theSaints +5.5.

KARMA IS THE THUNDER
Okay karma really has nothing to do with the under, but it just fit too well. The total is set at 42.5 points this week. The point total refers to the total points scored in the game and as a bettor you bet the over or the under.
Four games into the season, the Chiefs have had two games go over and two go under. As of Thursday morning, only 17% of the bets on the total are on the under, but 55% of the money is on the under. So that tells us that the professional bettors, otherwise known as the sharps, like the under.
And so does Action Network analyst, Brandon Anderson, who gave out his under pick during his Hot Read segment on Sunday’s The Action Network Podcast.
I’m going with the wise guys on this one and I’m going to take the under.
ACTUALLY … KARMA IS THE GUY ON THE CHIEFS …
Okay so my reverse psychology/jinx worked last week when it came to that guy on the Chiefs. Travis got his karma after all the negative discourse around his performance with 7 receptions for 89 receiving yards.
Now that he’s hitting his stride more and it’ll (hopefully) be a fun cap to a birthday weekend with the family at Arrowhead, I’m going back to betting on Travis. This is the week he’s scoring a touchdown and hitting the over on his receiving yards.
