Packers vs. Lions opens NFL Week 14 tonight at Ford Field at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.

Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Packers vs. Lions anytime touchdown scorers and have a pick for each team tonight on Thursday Night Football.

Here are my two anytime touchdown scorer bets for tonight.

Packers vs. Lions TD Scorers

  • Jameson Williams (+250, bet365)
  • Sam LaPorta 1H (+500, bet365)

Jameson Williams has registered four touchdowns this season and since returning from suspension, has seen 14 targets in two games.

Last week against the Bears, he saw two red zone targets and I can see this matchup against Green Bay as one that he can exploit.

The Packers play Cover 2 at the fourth-highest rate in the NFL, and Williams leads the NFL in fantasy points per route run against that type of coverage. He has also done well against Cover 3, which the Packers play at a top-10 rate.

With him getting carries and longer targets, there’s a nice upside for Williams in finding the end zone this week.

This is a trends play that I’ve harped on all season, but it’s worked for me.

When Sam LaPorta scores, he typically scores indoors and in the first half. In his career, he’s registered 16 touchdowns, all of them have been indoors, and 13 of them scored in Detroit.

Only two of his 16 touchdowns have been scored in the second half and in both of those games, he had already scored in the first half.

It’s far too convenient.

This week, he faces the Packers, a team that ranks 30th in defensive DVOA against tight ends. Additionally, he scored at home against the Packers last season on Thanksgiving in the first half.

LaPorta's anytime touchdown at +250 is also a good play, but given his first-half touchdown history, there’s far too much upside.
