If you're a Philadelphia sports fan, your eyes will likely be glued to the TV on Sunday when your beloved Eagles take the field in Super Bowl 59 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Those same fans have likely spent the last three-plus months being disappointed in their 76ers, who enter the day 11 games under .500 and on the outside looking in on the Eastern Conference playoff race.
A Philly Special on Sunday would've been the Sixers winning a big game against the conference rival Bucks as an appetizer for the Eagles hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
As it stands, both of those things are still possible, it's just that a Sixers victory will be significantly less meaningful even if you take the whole "it's the freaking Super Bowl" out of the equation.
For what it's worth, The Sixers are taking on another disappointing team, albeit not to as harsh of a degree, in the Milwaukee Bucks, so as of Saturday night, they're only around 2-point underdogs despite being on the road. That's also based on the fact that Joel Embiid is expected to play.
Even with the Sixers suffering through such a disappointing season, their game (2 p.m. ET tipoff on ABC) will at the very least help distract Eagles fans as they count down the minutes to Super Bowl 59.
As such, a Philly sports fan with their eyes on the betting odds might be looking to bet the Philly Special on Sunday. Well, we've got you covered at a variety of sportsbooks. At the links up top, you can add an Eagles/Sixers ML parlay to your bet slip instantly at your sportsbook of choice. The odds are as of Saturday night so are, of course, subject to change.
