Brock Bowers Over 6.5 Receptions (+100)
When you’re looking for real difference-makers on the Raiders’ offense, there’s only one man you’re picking: Brock Bowers. The rookie is already a top-five tight end in the league and looks like a future superstar. His reception line here stands at 6.5 — pretty high given he’s covered it just once in the past four games — but we need to dig deeper.
We’ve seen Bowers with seven or more receptions in five of 11 games this season, but he’s been getting a huge volume of targets, with 26 in the past two weeks alone. The problem is he just hasn’t made the grabs.
He won’t have a better chance than against the Chiefs, who are terrible against TEs. They’ve given up the most yardage and the second most receptions (average of 6.2 per game) to the position than any other team. Bowers is the stud player on the Raiders roster and will get fed here, in what’s a favorable matchup.
Jakobi Meyers Over 53.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
While we’re taking Bowers to land his reception total, we’re going over on teammate Jakobi Meyers’ yardage total. At this point in his career, we know what Meyers is: a solid but not spectacular NFL wide receiver. He can move the chains and he’s done so this season.
He’s played just nine times this season due to injury but has covered this line on five occasions and has averaged 64.3 yards per game. He’s also seen increased usage in recent weeks, with two games of 100+ yards in the past three games, and had 32 targets, averaging over 10 per game.
Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown (+280)
We’ve already mentioned Bowers, a tight end ascending to the pinnacle of the game, but we have to mention Travis Kelce, one who feels like he’s beginning to drop from the lofty heights we’ve seen throughout his career.
He’s had just two touchdowns all season, but upon closer inspection, one did come in a monster game against the Raiders. That game saw him catch ten of 12 for 90 yards and a touchdown.
While he hasn’t been at his best, he’s still Patrick Mahomes’ preferred red zone threat. He’s had 15 targets inside the 20, more than DeAndre Hopkins and man-of-the-moment Noah Gray combined. It’s also six more than the nearest competition, Xavier Worthy.
The Raiders have given up seven touchdowns to TEs, the second most in the NFL, so back Kelce to find the endzone at +280, a price we’d have never even dreamt of last season.
