With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, it's time to turn our attention to the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs in a Black Friday clash. This AFC West tilt is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium; the game will be broadcast on Prime Video.
Whether you plan to get up early and shop on Black Friday or spend your afternoon on anytime TD bets for Raiders-Chiefs, neither seems like a fun decision from my standpoint. That being said, I’d rather wrestle with the decision of betting on a Brock Bowers TD or a Xavier Worthy TD than trying to wrestle a 60-inch TV from another shopper’s hands.
Let's get into my three Raiders vs Chiefs anytime touchdown scorer props for Black Friday.
Raiders vs. Chiefs Anytime Touchdown Props
- TE Brock Bowers +310 (Caesars)
- WR Jakobi Meyers +360 (ESPN BET)
- WR Xavier Worthy +250 (FanDuel)
Big-bodied slot receivers have given the Chiefs trouble this season. In each of the last three games, a WR out of the slot has scored on the Chiefs (David Moore, Curtis Samuel, Devaughn Vele).
Bowers is naturally the first player you think of since he lines up in the slot over 50% of the time.
The Chiefs rank bottom five in targets, catches and touchdowns allowed to tight ends this season.
Anything over +300 is a great price for Bowers.
Along with Bowers, I like Jakobi Meyers at +360.
He lines up in the slot just under 40% of the time and he has the same amount of red-zone targets as Bowers despite missing two games. Meyers averages 8.3 targets per game compared to Bowers at 9.
In four games since coming back from injury, Meyers has 28 targets and a touchdown, with the score coming against the Chiefs. He also fits the profile of a slot WR that can score over the middle.
I know he’ll be a popular pick because of who he’s dating and that he had 10 catches and a TD in their last matchup, but +120 odds for a Travis Kelce TD is criminal. There are far too many options to choose from on the Chiefs side — even his backup, Noah Gray, has scored four TDs in the last two games.
I’d rather bet on someone like Xavier Worthy (+250) since he has decent receiver metrics vs. man defense, which the Raiders play at an above-average rate. Worthy also has at least one red-zone target in each of the last five games.
The Chiefs seem to scheme up a scoring play for him in each game, so let’s bank on him potentially bouncing back after failing to score against the Panthers.
