Update: The Rams have a 68% chance to make the NFL playoffs entering Week 17, according to Action Network's Predictive Analytics team.

Update: The Rams have an estimated 56% chance to make the NFL playoffs entering Week 16. They face the Saints in critical matchup for their postseason hopes, which we detailed here.

Coaching goes a long way in the NFL, and the Rams have one of the best. Most expected the rebuild in Los Angeles to be a multi-year process. Instead, head coach Sean McVay has the Rams on the verge of returning to the postseason after a one-year absence.

The Rams have won three of their last four, and nearly knocked off the powerhouse Ravens last week. Baltimore needed an overtime punt return to stave off the upset, showing why Los Angeles is the proverbial team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

The Rams have a 35% chance to make the NFL playoffs entering Week 15, according to Action Network's Predictive Analytics team. A key to Los Angeles’ playoff push is that they’re fully healthy after being banged up most of the year. Matthew Stafford has been terrific since returning from the bye, and has arguably the league’s best one-two punch in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Meanwhile, Kyren Williams has crushed it after returning from IR.

The Rams have a favorable schedule over the next three weeks before finishing the year against the NFC-leading 49ers.  They host the free-falling 4-9 Commanders on Sunday before facing the 6-7 Saints and 5-8 Giants. They’re currently 4-4 against the NFC, and any win from here and out will boost their record in the all-important tiebreaker.
