The Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans will face off on Christmas in NFL Week 17 in a showdown of AFC contenders at NRG Stadium in Houston at 4:30 p.m. ET on Netflix.

Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Ravens vs. Texans anytime touchdown scorers and have a pick for each team on Christmas Day.

Here are my two anytime touchdown scorer bets.

Ravens vs. Texans Anytime TD Scorer Picks

  • Lamar Jackson Anytime Touchdown (+215, DraftKings)
  • Dalton Schultz Anytime Touchdown (+350, DraftKings)

Lamar Jackson only has three rushing touchdowns this season, but he may need to run a bit more here than usual.

The Texans run defense is among the best in the NFL, ranking third in DVOA entering Week 17. If Houston is able to slow down Derrick Henry, Jackson might need to be more active with his legs.

Also, Houston’s strong ranking against the run is mostly due to its prowess against opposing running backs. The Texans are allowing opposing quarterbacks to run for six yards per carry, and Patrick Mahomes just ran one in on them last week with a bum ankle.

Also, for what it’s worth, Jackson has played well in a dome this season. In two indoor games, Jackson has combined for 22 carries, 112 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

This is almost a process of elimination for the Texans.

Tank Dell and Stefan Diggs are both out for the season, which means Nico Collins is going to be the only reliable option on the outside for C.J. Stroud. It wouldn’t shock me if Baltimore focuses in on Collins.

However, Dalton Schultz has scored in two of the last three games and has a favorable matchup. The Ravens rank in the bottom five in the NFL in yards allowed to opposing tight ends.

I’m banking on Schultz inheriting a bigger role and taking advantage of this game against the Ravens.
