Week 6's edition of Thursday Night Football gives us a massive NFC West matchup with the 49ers at Seahawks. Seattle leads the division and is one win ahead of the visitors. Plenty of big names are involved, so let’s check out the very best prop bets on the game.
Let's dive into my NFL props for 49ers vs. Seahawks.
Sam Farley's 49ers vs. Seahawks Player Props
- Jordan Mason Over 81.5 Rushing Yards (-110 at bet365)
- George Kittle Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-110 at bet365)
- Kenneth Walker Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-110 at BetMGM)
Jordan Mason Prop: Expect Big Game From 49ers RB
Jordan Mason Over 81.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
The Seahawks are in the bottom half of the league when it comes to rushing yardage given up per game, with an average of 128 yards through the first five weeks of the season. Last week, we saw Tyrone Tracy Jr. of the New YorkGiants put 129 yards on them and the week before that the Lions’ double-headed rushing attack of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery broke 100 yards.
Jordan Mason had just 14 carries last week against the Cardinals — his lowest volume of the season — but he still turned that into 89 yards with an average carry of 6.4 yards. He’s been effective all season, averaging more than 100 rushing yards per game at 5.1 yards per carry.
He will continue to see double-digit carries, and if anything we should see a return to the 19+ carries that he’s had in every other week bar the last. He’s covered 81.5 rushing yards in four of five games and should do so again.
George Kittle Prop: 49ers TE In Strong Form
George Kittle Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The Seahawks might just have a weakness against tight ends. They’ve given up 286 yards to the position so far this season, the fifth-highest amount in the NFL at an average of 57.2 per game. The Seahawks are great at stopping the deep ball but it leaves them open, something George Kittle should be able to take advantage of.
Kittle has had a solid season so far for the Niners. He’s third in targets on the team, despite playing just four games. He’s hit 49+ yards in half of his games so far and this is a good matchup for him.
He’s also in great form having scored touchdowns in three games in a row — you can grab him to score at +175, which aren’t bad odds either. We’ve seen Hunter Henry and Sam LaPorta have big games against this defense over the past month and Kittle, should he play, will do the same.
Kenneth Walker Prop: Bet Receiving Yards Market
Kenneth Walker Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Kenneth Walker has shown his ability for the Seahawks this season with four touchdowns in just three games played. Even with injury disrupting him, he’s still playing at a high level.
He had just five carries last week, following a difficult week nursing his oblique injury. However, while the team didn’t put him through the rigor and vigor of rushing, they did feature him in the passing game with seven catches on eight targets for 57 yards.
He's had 13 targets in his past two games and had 36 and 57 receiving yards, respectively. Even if the Hawks look to get him more involved on the ground, they won’t give up his targets with the 49ers, the seventh-worst team in the NFL in terms of receiving yards given up to running backs.
The 49ers have allowed an average of 42.2 receiving yards per game to running backs and given Walker’s recent performances, his team will likely trust him to make plays when they can throw him the ball in space.
