Week 5 wraps up with NFL Thursday Night Football between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at 49ers vs. Seahawks anytime touchdown scorers. To kick off NFL Week 6, I'm backing a wide receiver for each team to find the end zone in what appears to be a plus matchup for both.

Here are my two anytime TD scorer picks for 49ers vs. Seahawks props.

Gilles Gallant's 49ers vs. Seahawks Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props

  • Brandon Aiyuk (+150, BetMGM)
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+210, bet365)

Brandon Aiyuk and Jaxon Smith-Njigba thrive against man coverage, so here's hoping we see that played a lot in this game.. One scored last week and the other is due.

Brandon Aiyuk somehow doesn’t have a touchdown yet this season, but I love this matchup for him.

The Seahawks defense has been slipping lately. It has allowed four touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in its last two games and ranks 18th in DVOA against opposing WR1s, including 23rd against deep balls.

Aiyuk has seen six red-zone targets this season, three of which were in the end zone. It’s a matter of time until he explodes for a big game, and this could be it if Seattle plays a lot of man coverage on Thursday night.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught a touchdown last week against the Giants and leads the Seahawks in red-zone targets. He’s also averaging eight targets per game.

The 49ers defense has struggled this season when playing man coverage, ranking 30th in success rate (46%) and allowing the second-most yards per target (10.8).

Well, Smith-Njigba just so happens to lead the Seahawks in target share against man coverage. This is a great matchup for him.

If you want to take DK Metcalf at +150, I wouldn’t blame you. I think this is Smith-Njigba’s time to shine, though.
