Inexplicably, two other players are more popular in the anytime TD market compared to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who systemically led this leaderboard throughout the 2023 NFL season.
That's on account of the tush push, which Hurts used to put up 15 rushing touchdowns last season — the vast majority of them from the one- or two-yard line.
For Friday night's game between the Packers and Eagles from Brazil, both starting running backs are more popular retail picks to score compared to Hurts. Both players are new acquisitions for their respective teams: Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and Packers running back Josh Jacobs.
While Hurts clocks in as the third-most popular pick on Friday night, it's a palpable change from a year ago, when he typically topped these sorts of lists.
Eagles wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith round out retail's favorite picks for the anytime TD market.
- Saquon Barkley (-105)
- Josh Jacobs (+115)
- Jalen Hurts (-105)
- A.J. Brown (+105)
- DeVonta Smith (+150)

BetMGM is hosting a promo in which your wager on the first TD market will be refunded in bonus bets if the player scores the second touchdown. It's not close to +EV, frankly, but could be worthwhile if you were planning on betting the first TD market, anyway.
A fair warning that the first TD market is incredibly -EV — the same can be said for most, if not all, of the anytime TD market. Use these as entertainment levers more than financial instruments.
