As of Saturday morning, the Steelers vs Bills odds sat at Bills -9.5 and the over/under was all the way down to 33 or 33.5 depending on the sportsbook.
While there hasn't been any spread movement due to the news, the total has gone all the way up to 39.5.
Originally, the game opened at 43.5, but anticipated weather took the game's over/under all the way down to the low point of 33.
Action Labs has tracked opening & closing totals for 20 years — of the 224 NFL playoff games in that span, the move was the biggest O/U movement we've ever seen.
From 12:10 to 12:20 p.m. ET, the game saw a 6% increase in handle towards the over, as bettors capitalized on a total that still projected a Sunday contest – and the harsher weather that would have come with that.
Sunday's forecast calls for wind gusts up to 60 mph, and that is projected to decrease on Monday. However, snow is still projected on Monday and consistent winds of approximately 20 mph are in the forecast.
