The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, January 11, at the Ravens' M&T Bank Stadium in a wild-card playoff matchup at 8 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Steelers vs. Ravens anytime touchdown scorers and I have a pick for each team on Saturday.
Here are my three anytime touchdown scorer bets for Saturday's game.
Steelers vs. Ravens Anytime Touchdown Scorers
- Pat Freiermuth Anytime Touchdown (+400)
- Lamar JacksonAnytime Touchdown (+240)
- Isaiah Likely Anytime Touchdown (+280)
I love TE Pat Freiermuth in this matchup at +400. He finished the season with seven touchdowns and scored in Week 18 with +310 ATD odds against the Bengals.
Now, he hasn’t fared well against the Ravens this season, but with WR George Pickens back in the lineup, Freiermuth continues to see his target rate go up. With Pickens on the field, Freiermuth saw 19 targets over the last two games against the Chiefs and Bengals. Freiermuth also has the most red-zone targets (six) over the last five games of any Steelers pass-catcher.
In a divisional matchup with the Steelers as substantial road underdogs, I expect Pittsburgh to be in a trailing game script with QB Russell Wilson looking for options against this pass-funnel defense.
It’s encouraging that the Ravens also ranked 21st in defensive DVOA against TEs, with five TDs allowed to the position.
My gut pick for the Ravens is pretty chalky, but I can’t get the vision of Lamar Jackson scoring on the ground out of my head.
To be honest, Jackson’s historical profile against the Steelers isn’t great. The Steelers don't seem to get caught off guard when Jackson scrambles; Pittsburgh limited him to 13 carries and 66 rush yards in two matchups this season.
In fact, in eight career games, Jackson hasn’t rushed for a touchdown against the Steelers — it’s the only AFC North opponent against whom he’s been held out of the end zone.
At +240, I like Jackson to score but I wouldn’t bet it below +200.
If the Steelers take away the QB scramble option from the Ravens and leave a spy over the middle, that will open things up for TE Isaiah Likely (+280) to get another touchdown against the Steelers.
Likely scored early against the Steelers in their last matchup and led the Ravens in targets and receiving yards in that game.
With WR Zay Flowers sidelined and the Steelers running man coverage at a top-five rate, Likely is my favorite Ravens pass-catcher in this matchup.
VERDICT: Pat Freiermuth +400 | Lamar Jackson +240 | Isaiah Likely +280
