Week 7's Sunday Night Football matchup is a clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins.
I have one play from each team. These players aren’t the flashiest of names and are more bargain-bin guys who could surprise.
WR Cedrick Wilson Jr., Dolphins
According to Dolphins beat writer Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post, receivers coach Wes Welker sees Wilson getting more touches going forward.
Wilson started the season operating as the team’s No. 3 WR before a rib injury derailed his season in Week 3. Wilson could cut into the snaps of the more expensive Trent Sherfield.
RB Jaylen Warren, Steelers
Mike Tomlin said he wanted to get Warren more involved, then proceeded to give him a season-low two touches in last week’s win over Tampa Bay.
Still, Warren was in for a key third-down conversion and has shown the upside to handle double-digit touches with five carries and five targets in Week 5. Warren will likely see the most work if the Steelers fall behind big, but it’s always worthwhile to roster the backup RB as leverage on the starter in a one-game slate.
