Sunday Night Football for Week 15 of the NFL season gives us an NFC East battle between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders.
I have two players to target — one from each team — in this game. These players aren’t the flashiest of names and are more bargain-bin guys who could surprise.
WR Jahan Dotson
The Giants play man coverage at the highest rate, and Dotson is tied for fourth in the NFL with four touchdowncatches against man. What makes this impressive is that he’s done so on just 10 targets, which shows you the upside the rookie first-round pick possesses.
Dotson’s 90% route participation rate in his last game was his highest since Week 2, and his role should only grow coming out of the bye.
WR Isaiah Hodgins
Hodgins has taken over as the Giants’ starting WR2 opposite Darius Slayton, running a route on 88% of Daniel Jones’ dropbacks in each of the past two weeks and posting back-to-back games with at least four catches and a TD.
The Commanders rank within the top 11 in DVOA against No. 1 wide receivers, tight ends and running backs, but are 26th in DVOA against Nos. 2 and 3 receivers, so this should be considered a plus matchup for the emerging third-year pro.
