  • Did you bet on the coin toss in Super Bowl 53 between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams? Of course you did.
  • Check out the results below.

As the popularity of the Super Bowl has grown, so have the prop bets.

Along with betting on the length of the National Anthem and the color of the Gatorade that gets dumped on the winning coach, gambling on the coin toss has somehow become one of the most popular novelty bets for the Big Game, even though bettors are paying juice on a 50/50 proposition.

The most-watched coin flip of the year is now over. Super Bowl 53 head official John Parry was joined by Bernice King, the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. for the coin toss.

This year saw Matt Slater of the Patriots call heads and lose the toss. The Rams deferred to give the Patriots the ball first. Congratulations to all the bettors who cashed on tails.
