As far as market activity goes, it was a pretty tame couple of weeks for the Super Bowl 54 spread. Oddsmakers released the number at an even pick'em — and did so mid-NFC Championship Game as the Niners were in the midst of a blowout — and the closing line didn't fall far from that tree.

Super Bowl 54 Closing Odds: 49ers vs. Chiefs
- Spread: Chiefs -1.5
- Over/under: 53
- Chiefs moneyline: -125
- 49ers moneyline: +105
The closing spread of Kansas City -1.5 is right around where the line has remained for much of the two weeks since its first day open (most books were already up to -1.5 by the end of the first night).
At kickoff, 57% of spread bets had landed on the Chiefs, accounting for 53% of money.
The over/under, on the other hand, did see some interesting movement over the course of its 14 days in the market.
Opening at 51.5/52, the over was the most popular of the standard game bets leading up to kickoff, drawing 75% of bettors and 63% of money. That backing pushed the number up to 54.5 before it finally regressed back to a closing number of 53.
And as for the moneyline, it closed right at the expected range for a 1.5-point spread, with the Chiefs listed as -125 favorites to take home the Lombardi Trophy.
