Super Bowl 59 will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
This is the second time in three years that these teams will meet. With a win, the Chiefs will become the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls.
Here's everything you need to know for Chiefs vs. Eagles tonight.
What Channel Is the Super Bowl On?
This year's Super Bowl will be broadcast on FOX. Kevin Burkhardt will be on play-by-play for his second Super Bowl (and second Chiefs–Eagles matchup), while Tom Brady will be in the booth for the big game for the first time.
Moving forward, the Super Bowl will rotate between ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. ABC hasn’t broadcasted the game since February 2006, but it will return to the rotation back in 2027.
The network rotation recently added ABC (and ESPN) back into the mix. That’s why FOX is broadcasting this year’s game, which will be its second in three years. The new rotation started last year and will go CBS-FOX-NBC-ABC for at least two cycles. When there is a year with the Winter Olympics, NBC will broadcast that year’s Super Bowl.
How To Watch Chiefs vs. Eagles
There are two main ways you’ll be able to watch the Super Bowl in the United States without signing up for a streaming service like YouTube TV.
First, you can watch FOX on cable like millions of people will.
If you’re looking for a streaming option, Tubi is FOX’s streaming service. It is free, so all you’ll need to do is download the app.
Super Bowl Kickoff Time
Kickoff time for Chiefs vs. Eagles is listed at 6:30 p.m. ET, and there's reason to believe that's usually pretty reliable.
Unlike many sporting events, the NFL’s listed kickoff times are usually very reliable. During the regular season, games begin within 1 minute of the listed time.
The Super Bowl is no different — for the most part.
In recent years, viewers have not had to sit around for 10 minutes until kickoff. It usually only takes a few minutes after 6:30 p.m. for the game to get going. A big reason for that is that incredible amount of money invested into commercials during the game.
Chiefs vs. Eagles Betting Spread
As of Saturday night, most sportsbooks had the Chiefs installed as 1.5-point favorites over the Eagles. There were some outliers that had the spread at just -1.
Most sportsbooks have the Chiefs spread listed at -105 odds, which means bettors can get a better payout by laying the extra one-half point with Kansas City.
At most sportsbooks, the Chiefs are -115 on the moneyline and the Eagles -105.
The game total opened at 49.5 but has moved down to 48.5 at most sportsbooks, except for BetMGM listing it at 49. Both conference championship games went way over their listed total, but neither the Chiefs nor Eagles play up-tempo and generally like to eat the clock. If Philadelphia continues to run the ball well, don’t expect a fast-paced game unless Saquon Barkley rips off more long touchdown runs.
