The NFL playoffs have arrived, and the Super Bowl odds market is shaping up ahead of the wild card weekend of games.
BetMGM released its updated odds, ticket percentage and ticket handle, and some familiar names are garnering the attention of bettors.
The biggest Super Bowl favorites – the Kansas City Chiefs (+400) and the Buffalo Bills (+325) – are amassing the most love from the public while the Philadelphia Eagles (+500) slot in behind.
Kansas City accounts for 10.7% of the tickets and 11.8% of the handle while Buffalo has totaled the most of both at 12.4% and 16.8%.
The Chiefs are the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and Buffalo is No. 2, but if the teams square off in the AFC Championship game, they will play at a neutral site.
Philly opened the year with some of the longest odds of any team that made the playoffs, but the Eagles are down to +500 and heading into the playoffs with a bye.
The Eagles account for 7.8% of the betting tickets and 8.1% of the handle, making them the most popular NFC selection alongside the team that has equal odds: the 49ers.
San Francisco is also listed at +500, and the Niners have tracked 7.0% of the tickets and 8.5% of the handle.
The only other team listed under +1000 – the Cincinnati Bengals (+750) – have received only 6.5% of the wagers and 7.2% of the handle, despite making it out of the AFC last year.
