We've heard all week about how the Eagles are garnering a majority of the betting action ahead on the Super Bowl, but is the late money being wagered on the game coming in on the other side?
The Action Network's NFL PRO Report tracks the percentage of money wagered on the spread, over/under and total of each NFL game throughout the season, and it has been monitoring Super Bowl action throughout the last two weeks.
There had been a steady influx of Eagles action — particularly on the spread — up until Sunday, but now some more wagers are beginning to hit Kansas City.
The Chiefs had been under 40% of tracked tickets throughout the week, but have climbed over 41% on Sunday. As Sunday always accounts for the biggest percentage of bets placed, that gives us a good idea of where the money is coming in today.
On the moneyline, the Chiefs have been marginally above 50% throughout the week, and they're holding at 50% as game time nears.
Regarding the over/under, the over has been a popular side for bettors all week, and that isn't really changing with Sunday's action.
Heading in to the day, 59% of the wagers and 62% of the money were on the high side of the total, and at 11 a.m. ET the percentages are nearly identical at 58% and 62%.
