There is one player that could be a costly one in Super Bowl 57 for sportsbooks, and it's not one of the quarterbacks.

Rather, tight end Travis Kelce poses a big threat to books as bettors pile on the superstar in every prop market available.

According to BetMGM, Kelce is the most-bet player to score the first touchdown of the game (+650) as well as the most-bet player to score at any time (-125).

Those two wagers also represent the props that have gotten the most betting tickets.

"They're betting [Kelce prop overs] like it's free money," said BetMGM trader Scott Shelton.

Kelce has also attracted a hefty amount of MVP action, as his line has moved from an opening number of +2800 to +1100.

However, he isn't one of the biggest liabilities in that market.

“Kenneth Gainwell, Hassan Reddick, Miles Sanders, and Isiah Pacheco as the Super Bowl MVP are all bad outcomes for BetMGM," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.

Ideally for BetMGM, one of the quarterbacks would win the award. Those are also the two most-likely outcomes according to the odds, with Patrick Mahomes at +140 and Jalen Hurts at +130.

The other prop wagers attracting significant action include Mahomes' interception over 0.5 at -110 and Miles Sanders rushing yardage over at 59.5 (-125).
