Odds for San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs are now open for betting ahead of Super Bowl 58.

While the majority of bettors prefer spreads, the Super Bowl over/under will also attract massive action for 49ers vs. Chiefs.

Interestingly, there isn't much to speak of in terms of line movement for the Super Bowl total in early betting, though there's still plenty of time for more action to hit the market and force adjustments from oddsmakers.

With this in mind, let's dig into the latest Super Bowl over/under, including how the public is betting the 49ers vs. Chiefs total.

Feb. 2 at 5:27 p.m. ET: While the spread has inched back up to a consensus of San Francisco -2, the Super Bowl over/under is holding steady at a consensus of 47.5, though PointsBet has ticked up to 48.

Jan. 29 at 12:05 p.m. ET: Sixty-one percent of tickets wagered on the total have come in on the over, according to the Action Network's NFL public betting data.

The real money percentages are even more balanced, as the over has landed 46% of the loot thus far.

Jan. 29 at 11:55 a.m. ET: There's very little Super Bowl over/under movement to speak of. Essentially every major sportsbook is sitting at 47.5 and -110 on both sides of the total.

In fact, this was also the line when FanDuel opened Super Bowl lookahead odds last week.

Jan. 28 at 9:51 p.m. ET:BetMGM opened the Super Bowl over/under at 47.5.
