Buccaneers vs Panthers Predictions
Spread
Bryce Young, who looks like a different quarterback since returning to the starting role, was quite good last week against the Chiefs in a losing effort.
I'm taking the points here with the home underdog as I like the Panthers to cover at home for a second straight week.
Moneyline
I'll take the six points with Carolina instead of betting on its moneyline.
Over/Under
I have no pick for this game's total.
My Pick: Panthers +6.5 (-105)

Buccaneers vs. Panthers Preview
Bryce Young looked fantastic last week. He’s one of only three quarterbacks to lead a team to 25 or more points against the Chiefs this season, joining Joe Burrow and Josh Allen.
Schematically, Panthers head coach Dave Canales is doing some of the things offensively that I expected to see earlier in the season that are bringing Young success now. The offensive line is healthy, and everything is coming together.
Also, I was very impressed with what Young did against Steve Spagnuolo's blitz packages last week. He was 11-of-14 for 123 yards against the blitz, and he was 9-of-16 for 165 yards on throws 10 or more yards down the field.
In this matchup, Canales will have a lot of familiarity after spending last season as the Buccaneers' defensive coordinator. He’ll know where to attack and set Young up for success.
It works on the other side of the ball, too.
Canales knows Baker Mayfield very, very well. We’re starting to see Young come along the same way Mayfield did last season.
The Panthers defense is by no means good, but it’s in much better shape than it’s been all season. It’s simply healthier across the board.
Linebacker D.J. Wonnum makes a big difference — the Panthers have been able to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks since he returned.
This is the Buccaneers’ second straight road game, and they were priced in this range last week against Tommy DeVito.
I have a lot more faith in Young, so I’ll take the six points and bet the Panthers.
My Pick: Panthers +6.5 (-105)
