The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-6) and Los Angeles Chargers (8-5) face off in NFL Week 15. Kickoff is set for in 4:25 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. The game will be broadcast live on FOX.

The Chargers are favored by 3 points with the game total set at 45.5 points scored. The Chargers are -150 favorites to win outright, while the Buccaneers are +125 to pull off the upset.

The Buccaneers won 28-13 last week over the Raiders and have won three straight games. Baker Mayfield threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns; Tampa Bay ran for 152 yards as a team. The Chargers lost 19-17 to the Chiefs last week, which clinched the AFC West for Kansas City.

Let's get into my Chargers vs Buccaneers predictions and NFL picks.

Spread

I like the Chargers against the spread in this matchup, especially if you can find -2.5 in the market.

Moneyline

While I'm betting L.A. against the spread, I have no pick on the moneyline.

Over/Under

I also do not have a pick on the total in this game.

My Pick: Chargers -2.5

Buccaneers vs. Chargers NFL Week 15 Preview

I would buy the half point with the Chargers here. I respect the key number of three and would play Chargers at -2.5, up to -125.

For me, the Buccaneers are the most overrated team in the NFL right now. Their wins this season include the Panthers in overtime, the Raiders, Jayden Daniels in his NFL debut, a Tommy DeVito-led Giants team and the Eagles without A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Lane Johnson.

The one impressive win that Tampa Bay can hang its hat on was in Detroit earlier this season, but it was outgained by almost 250 yards in that game and got seven red-zone stops.

The Bucs are also due for some turnovers.

Baker Mayfield has 28 touchdowns to 13 interceptions this season, but he only has 16 big-time throws to 20 turnover-worthy plays, according to Pro Football Focus. He’ll start opposite Justin Herbert, who has 26 big-time throws and 11 turnover-worthy plays this season.

This is a matchup in which the Buccaneers offense could struggle.

Tampa Bay has been very good in the red zone this season, but in terms of both scheme and efficiency this season, the Chargers have the best red-zone defense in the NFL. They’re very good at shrinking the field with three-high-safety looks and make it difficult for opposing offenses inside the 20-yard line.

The Buccaneers' safeties are banged up, and who knows about Bucky Irving? He’s a huge part of their offense, but barely played last week against the Raiders.

I like the matchup, and I like the spot. I think this line should be more than a field goal, so I’m betting on the mistakes finally coming for Mayfield and the Bucs offense.

My Pick: Chargers -2.5
