The Titans (3-12) and Jaguars (3-12) face off in NFL Week 17 at 1 p.m. EST from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville. The game will be broadcast live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+.
The Jaguars are 1-point favorites with the game total set at 38 points scored. The Jaguars are -115 favorites to win outright, while the Titans are -105 to pull off the upset.
Let's get into my Titans vs. Jaguars predictions and NFL picks.
Mason Rudolph started for the Titans last week and threw 3 interceptions in a 38-30 loss to the Colts. Tennessee will be without lead RB Tony Pollard this week, so Tyjae Spears is likely in for a larger workload than usual. The Jaguars lost to the Raiders 19-14 last week. Brian Thomas Jr. continued his stellar rookie campaign with 9 receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown.

Titans vs. Jaguars Prediction
Spread
Considering the stakes — or lack thereof — I'm avoiding back either side against the spread.
Over/Under
While a number of trends point toward the under, I don't have an official play on the total considering how bad both defenses are.
Player Props
Calvin Ridley could be in line for a revenge game against the Jaguars, and Jacksonville's defense has shown little to suggest it can stop Ridley despite who is throwing him the ball.
Ridley should get some volume Sunday – back him to go over his receiving yards prop.
My Pick: Calvin Ridley Over 63.5 Receiving Yards
Titans vs. Jaguars Betting Preview
- The Titans are 2-13 against the spread this season.
- The Titans haven't covered the spread in 10 of their last 11 games.
- The Jaguars are 8-7 against the spread this season.
- The Jaguars are 2-3 against the spread this season when Mac Jones starts at quarterback.
Titans vs. Jaguars Picks
There are a lot of trends that point toward the under being the play. I can’t do it, though. The Titans defense is fading after a strong start to the season, while the Jaguars defense is simply awful.
I’m going to focus on how Tennessee will likely go about attacking the Jacksonville defense, and that’s through the air to its No. 1 receiver.
The Jaguars defense is last in overall DVOA and against the pass, and it has allowed the third-most receiving yards to opposing wide receivers this season.
So far, 13 opposing receivers have registered at least 69 receiving yards against the Jaguars and eight have gotten to 100. Also, eight have scored a touchdown.
This is a revenge game for Calvin Ridley, who surprisingly signed with the Titans after his comeback season with the Jaguars in 2023.
In these teams’ first matchup back on Dec. 8, Ridley had seven receptions on 12 targets for 59 yards. He was close to a couple big plays and will usually get more yardage on 12 targets.
Ridley also benefits from Mason Rudolph starting at quarterback instead of Will Levis. He’s averaging 8.4 targets and 75.4 receiving yards per game with Rudolph under center compared to 6.7 targets and 48 yards with Levis.
I point to Ridley’s over on receiving yards as my favorite bet of the week, and I’d look to parlay 60+ yards with a touchdown at +345 at DraftKings. You can also take a long, hard look at 100+ yards at +450 or even think about parlaying 120+ yards and a touchdown at +1300.
My Pick: Calvin Ridley Over 63.5 Receiving Yards
