Another crazy day in the NFL saw the Dolphins secure a wild backdoor cover and a playoff berth while the Bills and Patriots traded blows in an amazing spectacle.
However, perhaps the craziest game that had the biggest implications came between two of the worst teams in the league, as the Texans upset the Colts 32-31 in Indy.
Houston entered the game with the inside track to the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but the Texans rushed out to a 17-7 lead before holding steady with a 24-14 advantage.
The game took a turn there as the Colts rattled off 17 unanswered points to take a 31-24 lead. Perhaps Texans fans were breathing major sighs of relief as it seemed like they would take that No. 1 pick back from the Bears, who were next in line if they lost and the Texans won.
Nonetheless, the Texans weren't ready to concede. Davis Mills led Houston down the field before facing a fourth and 20. There, the unthinkable happened, as a lofted pass was there for the taking, but a botched interception resulted in a touchdown.

At that point, head coach Lovie Smith decided his team would go for two, and, of course, the Texans converted.

That play gave the Bears the lead to the first pick once again, and an incomplete Hail Mary at the end of the game for Indianapolis ensured Chicago's fortune.
The Texans now have the second pick in the draft, and the NFL proved once again it is arguably the craziest league in sports.
