The Texans (2-0) face the Vikings (2-0) in Week 3 of the NFL season with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota. Here's an early look at the Texans vs. Vikings odds, spread and total for this Sunday afternoon matchup.

The Texans are favored by 2.5 points over the Vikings in the latest NFL odds for Week 3, with the over/under set at 45.

Houston Texans

The Texans are 2-0 as last season's darlings are off to a fast start. First they downed the division rival Colts in a 29-27 nailbiter. Then they hammered No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams in a 19-13 win on Sunday Night Football.  Houston sacked Williams seven times on the night and now have the second-most of any team through two weeks (9). The only team that has more are the Vikings (11).

Minnesota Vikings

Sam Darnold is making Vikings fans forget all about the season-ending injury to J.J. McCarthy as well as the now-departed Kirk Cousins with a tremendous start to the season. The Vikings are 2-0 with him at the helm, including a massive 23-17 Week 2 upset over the 49ers. However, Justin Jefferson left the game with a quad injury and is reportedly day-to-day.
